Our Process & Timeline
The Rector Search Committee has been formed as the parish begins the search process for its next Rector. It will serve as a sub-committee of the Vestry, charged with working in partnership with the Diocese, following their guidelines, in order to complete the tasks and responsibilities of the clergy transition. The tasks to be completed by the parish are important, take time, and call for participation by as many members as possible.
STARTING
Interim Rector appointed and rector search committee formed.
SELF STUDY
Members take parish survey to form priorities; results help create parish profite.
SEEKING
During the active search period, we begin identifying prospective rector candidates.
DISCERNMENT
Search Committee decides on finalists who are the best fit for our parish.
CALL
With approval from the Vestry & Bishop, Senior Warden calls chosen candidate to be our next rector.
